Over the last few years more and more of the large internet entities have begun to provide free internet access to wide based web users, not currently affiliated to their organizations. Essentially this is free public access to the internet. Web-a-dex currently has reviewed and recommends the AltaVista Free Access.
- Ease of Installation
- The last user we started with AltaVista (8-9-2000) took a seven minute set up and they were able to connect. Far superior to previous installation versions for all free access we have reviewed.
- Customer Service
- The week of August 9th customer service from AltaVista was responding in less than 24 hours with personal review of questions. Excellent support system.
- Expanded Web Features
- Excellent web mail and tools for the internet user.
